GEMS - God’s Effective Matured Saints
Ministry Directors: Don & Theresa Bruce
The GEMS Senior
Ministry is offered to those who are 60 and over; members as well as visitors.
Our purpose is to recognize the need
to encourage fellow seniors in their devotional life and in the use of their natural and spiritual gifts to further the work
of Jesus Christ. In all activities that we plan, we want to exalt the name of Jesus Christ. There are so many seniors who
are involved in serving the Lord and through this ministry it is our goal to encourage senior citizens to use their gifts
and talents for the Lord and in turn enhance our service to the church and community. Some Seniors who attend may have “retired”
but this ministry helps to keep them “refired” in fellowship and activity!
The GEMS meets for activities
each month, which includes fellowship, dinners, honoring monthly birthdays, trips, and fundraisers. We have all our planned
activities listed on our web site calendar. It is our prayer that each Senior Citizen at FGFC will come out each month and
invite someone to come with you , to enjoy a time of uplifting fellowship & fun!

Mothers of Preschoolers
(MOPS)
Starting on September 15th 2009, meetings are held on the
second Tuesday of each month in the Fellowship Hall at 9:15 am to 11:15 am. Childcare (Moppetts) drop off is between 9:00
- 9:15 am in the church's nursery (located next door).
MOPS International exists to encourage, equip, and develop every mother
of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. This is a time where
Moms in the same season of life can come together and enjoy a time of refreshment and fellowship. This year our theme is "Together
on Planet Mom" and we will explore something different each month that will help make us be better moms on this journey through
motherhood.
Our Moppetts program (children ages infant to Kindergarten) meets at the
same time. Your children are cared for by our excellent staff and entertained with their own program of craft making, snack,
storytime, etc. during this time.
MOPS is here to come alongside you during this season of early mothering
to give you the support and resources you need to be a great mom.

Something Beautiful's purpose is to help women who have been
through life situations that have left them feeling useless, worthless, broken and less than beautiful. It is our goal to
